Our Experience Bar and boutique is the best place to find unique gifts for your next kids birthday party or special event.

Meet Sara, our Owner & Founder!
For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved creating experiences that bring people joy. What started as a career behind the chair turned into a lifelong journey of building connections, sparking confidence, and creating spaces where people feel truly cared for.
I’ve spent over 30 years as a stylist, with 20 years as the proud owner of Snips and Giggles. In that time, I’ve had the privilege of serving families, watching children grow up in my chairs, and becoming deeply rooted in the Lake Country community for more than a decade. Snips and Giggles has always been more than just a salon—it’s a place where memories are made and the magic of childhood is celebrated.
After retiring from behind the chair, I wanted to keep growing that magical feeling in new ways. That’s where the Experience Bar was born—an extension of Snips and Giggles designed to spark wonder, laughter and connection for everyone who walks through our doors.
My passion doesn’t stop at the salon. I’ve also followed my love for event planning, which led me to join the Oconomowoc Chamber of Commerce staff. There, I get to collaborate with an amazing team to dream up and deliver events that bring our community together and showcase the vibrant spirit of Oconomowoc.
Through every step of my journey, one thing has stayed constant: the joy of creating. Whether it’s through a haircut, a magical experience at the Experience Bar, or a community festival, I’m dedicated to making moments that people carry with them. My staff and I are excited to keep building those moments and can’t wait to share what’s ahead.
